A lesson from porn women might want to remember

I have heard about porn addiction. At first, I wondered if people labelled a behavior an addiction so they could continue the behavior throughout the so-called recovery process. Relapse is a part of recovery! However, I saw something quite recently that caused me to adjust my view and consider the possibility that pornography is an addiction. I was showing someone pictures of me . The pictures were on my phone. I wanted an opinion because I want to add more pictures to this blog. To my surprise, the guy was more interested in the pictures on the screen than the real woman, the exact same woman, beside him. He wrenched his gaze from the screen to look at me with an enormous effort and only after I pointed out that I was right there. What if there is something about a screen that draws people in. Women jealous of porn might want to consider taking pictures or making videos for their husbands. The men might still be all about the porn (so it’s not a total solution to neglect) but at least he would be viewing his wife, and she would feel less betrayed.  Now that’s a unique idea!

Remember: there is something about a screen that is addictive. Try to use that addictive quality to your advantage with your partner.

    1. In February you asked for more info about the writing I am doing. I have settled on a new name for this blog: Hawaii Street Life: sexy, witty inside view by Harvard Grad in Hawaii streets. Hawaii Stredt Life was accepted on May 23, 2021 as a space on Quota. So I am now an official contributor on Quira who gets asked qyestiins, can answer any question on the site and post original content. I saw the space on Quota called Life Behind Bars with hundreds of thousands of readers. I decided to apply as a contributor and I was accepted. We shall see how posting thus content on Quota will impact my work and hopefully, my life
And that is the info I have to supplement what you know about how I am translating my time off track into meaningful content that educates, informs and even entertains. High quality writing is nit the norm fir subject matter that can be borderline adult (my content is appropriate fir most audiences.) An intellectual work is not what people expect from a black lady who has had experiences with homelessness and addiction. I am being brutally honest. One purpose of the blog is to shatter stereotypes people have likely associated with people similarly situated. I am never what they expect and my use of words causes thinking people to self examine and expand their minds.

  1. Interesting post. I think he was focused on the “perfection” of the picture. She was “responding” to him exactly the way he wanted her to, with the requisite backstory to complete his perfection fantasy. Same with “porn addictions.” everything happens exactly like the receiver wants it; time, location, participant response etc

    1. Do men like porn for it’s perfection? I always thought the attraction in today’s world is the ubiquitous access. I must think about perfection…
