I didn’t know these hacks so I bet others will be in the dark

I used to be afraid if I asked a question I would show that I am the only idiot in the room. Over time I discovered if I don’t know something there’s a lot of people in the same boat. The second vaccination I received resulted in significant arm pain for six weeks because I did not know to rest the arm. I did one of my beloved Take Bo workouts and I threw a punch that left me unable to lift my arm over my head for over a month. Only after I healed did i Fi out some people were told to rest the injected arm. I am not part of the group that’s given up to the minute data. I speculate health care workers are just satisfied I am getting the shot and never consider that I could make use of more potentially confusing data. That’s why I want to share these tips with you, my people who identify with the have-nots, one way or another. After all, you’re reading my words. Here is the vaccination advice you will be able to access in detail in the above link. These points are good ideas, but not yet scientifically proven, mind you.

  • Drink 2 cups of water an hour before your booster or whatever shot you’re getting
  • Don’t exercise before the shot to decrease the chance of being dehydrated
  • Avoid Tylenol, Ibuprofen, antihistamines like Benadryl
  • Rest the injected arm. Take the day off from push ups and the like.

if you consider yourself a non A-lister, an also-ran, the person who receives the consolation prize, this site is for you. I tell one version of the story of the outcast, that’s the story of the people on the streets of downtown Honolulu, Hawaii. However, this site isn’t really about the homeless, or criminals, although it may appear to be, on the surface. Like they say in AA, alcohol is but a symptom. I hope you get me, and find a place where you belong, even if you never fit in anywhere before. You’re home, here.
