A linked post about the limits of prayer: The Hands That Help

https://wp.me/pab7VU-4Hx. This is the link to another popular blog with a much-read pot about prayer.

The hands that help are better than the lips that pray”

A quote that creates a split between prayer and action

Prayer and action are not mutually exclusive. In truth I never know what to say in prayer since I imagine God already k own what I am thinking or should think. Maybe prayer focussed our actions so we know why we are doing what we are doing. I like this quote about the interaction of prayer and deeds:

Pray to God but keep rowing to shore.

Caroleena’s favorite quote that serves as a response to people who wait for the rescue boat to get them.
