2018 journal of a desperate Honolulu woman



I was instructed how to open my Apple account without an iPhone. And what do you know, I found the earnest recollections from the beginning of my blog project. Below you will find thoughts from 2018 of a woman who wanted to hold on to her identity from the distant past as a Harvard grad, but who had become a part of Hawaii Street Life due to addiction, mental health issues (anxiety, for example), longstanding bitter resentments, and addiction. Addiction bears repeating bc it’s the only thing that can create a desperate immediate “need” to throw away normal life and do whatever it takes to get what everyone wants. More. And more of it.
